7. Sleep under the open sky

Spending a night in a shelter is a fantastic experience for both children and adults. It gives a break from everyday screens, strengthens togetherness, and creates memories under the starry sky.

8. Borrow equipment at the gear bank

Visit Naturcenter Trelde Næs or Naturcenter Lundingsvej, where you can borrow equipment for your nature experiences free of charge. At the gear bank, you’ll find, among other things, crab fishing rods, fishing nets, and campfire/snobrød sticks. Perfect for a day filled with fun activities in nature.

Take the kids to the forest this weekend

Go on a forest adventure and experience the magic of nature with the children. The forests around Fredericia are full of free experiences and adventures for the whole family. Here, children can run freely, climb trees, build dens, and collect leaves and cones. Explore ancient oak trees, discover hidden paths, or listen to birdsong while enjoying the calm of nature.

The forest offers a new adventure each season – jump into colorful autumn leaves, build snowmen in winter, listen to the birdsong of spring, or enjoy the shade from the treetops on a warm summer day. Regardless of the season, the forest provides fun activities and free outdoor experiences.
